Isabeau seems young and emotionally frazzled in this story. Conner was in the line of fire, trying to talk the man down, but chriztine doctor refused to take the out offered to him.
This book was light and easy to read with great character development, a well developed plot, and plenty a action. Even the heroine in Wild Fire feels it the next day, down in her junk, and she expects to be walking funny.
