And the dynamic between her and her two friends was refreshing!
It reminded me a lot of the Japanese drama version of the popular manga series Hana-Kimi, Volume 1which I enjoyed considerably more inspite of all the unnecessary twists and turns and silly side-plots a manga-based Bave is inherently prone to.

After being accused of cluelessness about males, she launches a secret mission, assuming bwbe male identity and attending a nearby boys’ boarding school for a week to write an investigative article about “the most mysterious of animals: She did this for the betterment of her writing and investigative skills – which she majorly lacks.
From that perspective, this was alright, I guess.
